Celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day at Union College by hosting hands-on STEM Activities for kids in Memorial Field House.
In partnership with Union College Athletics, this event brings local school children and student-athletes to campus to explore activity stations and cheer on our Garnet Chargers Women's Basketball and Hockey Teams.
The best way to participate in this activity is with a Union College club or organization. If you are part of a group that has a mission of exploring and celebrating STEM activities - this is a great event for you. Union student groups hosting activities at STEM Saturdays will need all student participants to sign up individually.
Union students who sign up to take part in this activity agree to create a hands-on activity and host a station centered around a STEM concept that can be explained to school children. For this particular STEM Saturday, we encourage you to create an activity that centers around motion, sports, biology and related topics - though we welcome other ideas as well.
When signing up for this event, please note your Club Name and any activity ideas (even preliminary ones) in the "Response Notes."
