Union College Youth STEM Enrichment

Our goal is to provide access to STEM activities and learning opportunities to children and teens in the Schenectady local area, and to provide outreach opportunities for college students who want to encourage younger generations to pursue STEM.

We organize STEM Saturdays, which are monthly events focused on bringing Union students into the community to engage with elementary and middle school kids interested in STEM. We bring a variety of STEM activities for kids to learn about and explore, with the goal to encourage their love of learning and STEM by learning STEM concepts through both structured activities and play.
