[Leader Position] Toll Day Guides - Greek Festival

Expired

Description

This position is restricted to Upperclass Student Leaders only.

This year, John Calvin Toll Day of Community Engagement goes beyond community service. With your support, we will help our first year students - and all members of our campus community - get to know Schenectady better through its cultural festivals and community programs.

The 48th Annual Greek Festival at St. George Greek Orthodox Church is a three-day event featuring live music, ethnic Greek food, beverages and pastries, folk dancing, arts and crafts, and raffles.

--

Assistance is needed guiding students to the Greek Festival on Liberty Street. Students will gather in front of Webster House, and should travel together in a walking group - coordinated by two CAs - about 10 minutes after the hour.

CAs in this role will commit to share their phone number with all participants of their walking group, and will commit to staying at the festival for a minimum of 90 minutes to be accessible to any students in your group. This role does not include walking students back to campus, we just ask that you ensure they know the path to return on their own.
