What is CAPTAIN Community Human Services?
CAPTAIN Community Human Services supports and empowers young people, adults and families in their journey to personal growth and self-sufficiency. Our services include Family Assistance and Development programs, a Runaway and Homeless Youth Shelter, CAPTAIN's Treasures, an Employment Readiness Program, a used bicycle donation and distribution program, a food pantry, a Street Outreach program, a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site, and a teen leadership program. We also provide holiday assistance for families in need.
Project Description:
We all have time, talent, and treasures that we enjoy sharing with others to help them grow personally and professionally in their lives. Why not use some of your time, talent, and treasure, to help train CAPTAIN Staff to better themselves in order to better serve their community. Why not host a virtual one-hour presentation on your skills for time management, being an engaged manager, technology, marketing, social media awareness, grant writing, and more.
To set up a Zoom to share your time, talent, and treasures please contact Ava Martin at ava@captaincares.org
Please respond to this need to help us keep track of those interested!
