Description

Unity House is a Rensselaer County-based human service agency that provides a wide range of services to meet the otherwise unmet needs of people in our community who are hurting struggling. They assist those who are living in poverty, adults living with mental illness or HIV/AIDS, victims of domestic violence, and children with developmental delays. Some of their programs consist of providing: Food Pantry Assistance, Meals-on-site, ReStyle Store, A Child’s Place, Domestic Violence Shelter, and much more.

Project Description:

We are ALWAYS in need of the following items: socks and underwear for all ages, toiletries like soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, lotion, sunscreen, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and more. CLEANING SUPPLIES like dish soap, sponges, clothing detergent are always needed too!    You can also help by collecting Food Pantry items such as soup, canned tuna, cereal, and other non-perishable items.  We are seeking as many items as can be provided. Thank you!

 

Upon completion, please call 518-274-2607 or  email Volunteer@unityhouseny.org to let us know you will be dropping off items or that the items will be mailed. All deliveries and mailed items can be sent to the main building at Unity House of Troy, 2431 Sixth Avenue, Troy, NY, 12180 c/o Development Team.
