Host Bubble Dome at Community Carnival, which takes place Sunday, May 17th from 1pm-4pm on Library Lawn. Union students volunteering for this role will:
- Work with Student Activities staff to gain access to Bubble Dome cart (in Reamer 406)
- Work with Student Activities / Kenney Center to make sure you have 20-50 balloons
- Set up Bubble dome at 12:15am on 5/17
- Staff the activity by encouraging kids to play inside the dome
- Manage traffic in and around the Dome (politely encouraging kids to move on to a new activity if they have been in there a while and others are waiting)
- Keep area organized so kids will want to come play
- Chat with family members and help direct them to other activities
This event is rain or shine, but the Bubble Dome activity is not. If we expect rain, you will not set up the Bubble Dome, we will provide you with other activities to host. For questions, please reach out to volunteer@union.edu.
