Schenectady Shares - our county's largest effort to stock local food pantries - is the Grand Marshal of this weekend's Holiday Parade!
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to help put the finishing touches on our "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" float. Volunteers are needed Friday, 11/21 at noon at the garage at 15 N. Jay Street, AND Saturday, 11/22 at 9 AM at the Armory.
Want to march with us in the parade?
We will gather to march in the parade at 3:30 PM on Saturday at the parade starting point on State St near SCCC. Look for the Grinch float and DRESS WARMLY! Remember that the roads close at 4 PM, and plan your transportation accordingly - especially for following the parade. Come one, come all - we want to have a big showing of folks marching with us!
We will DEFINITELY need help disassembling the float at the end of the parade when we finish marching. That shouldn't take long!
