**Position Overview:**
The Volunteer Community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for fostering relationships between the nonprofit organization and the community. This role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about community outreach, building partnerships, and promoting our mission through effective engagement strategies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to promote the organization’s programs and initiatives.
- Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and informational sessions to raise awareness and encourage participation.
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local businesses, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to identify community needs and tailor engagement efforts accordingly.
- Collect feedback from community members to improve engagement strategies and programming.
- Assist in the creation of promotional materials and social media content to highlight community engagement efforts.
**Qualifications:**
- Passion for community service and nonprofit work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in event planning or community outreach is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and engagement strategies.
