There are people in our community who can't read or converse in English....they have trouble filling out job applcations, reading safety signs, helping family members with homework......They come to us for help!
You Can Make a Real Difference in Another Persons Life by Volunteering as a Literacy Tutor!
Make a Difference!.....become a Literacy Tutor to Adults, Children and Families....prior teaching experience not necessary....free training and continuing support by a local volunteer organization: Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County.
One-on-One or group tutoring in Basic Literacy or English as a Second Language!
