United Way of the Greater Capital Region improves lives and advances the common good in the Greater Capital Region by mobilizing the caring power of donors, volunteers and community partners to give, volunteer and advocate for local people in need.
What We Do
Everyone deserves the opportunity to have a good life. United Way focuses on the building blocks everyone needs to live well and contribute to their communities.They are: the ability to meet BASIC NEEDS, receive a quality EDUCATION, earn a stable INCOME and maintain good HEALTH.
United Way supports a vital network of human service programs, coordinates individual efforts to achieve a more powerful impact than any of us could achieve alone and monitors results for outcomes and efficiency.
