Saratoga PLAN is a private nonprofit conservation organization. It is a 501(c)3 organization and a registered NYS charity. All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Saratoga PLAN works primarily in Saratoga County but works in the greater Saratoga region, usually in collaboration with other conservation-minded partners. Saratoga PLAN is a member of the Land Trust Alliance, a national organization providing training for 1,700 similar land trust organizations throughout the U.S.
What We Do
The mission of Saratoga PLAN is to preserve the rural character, natural habitats and scenic beauty of Saratoga County so that these irreplaceable assets are accessible to all and survive for future generations. We have conserved ~7,000 acres to date.
