LNYFMS empowers and enables residents who seek to improve their literacy skills. Our vision is universal literacy.

We provide free one-on-one tutoring services for adults in Basic Literacy, High School Equivalency preparation, and English as a Second Language.  All tutors are trained.  On-line or in person training provided.  We are always looking for committed individuals who would like to volunteer as tutors.  Time commitment is once per week for about 2 hours per session.
