Capital District YMCA

The Capital District YMCA is one of the leading charities, the Y never turns a child or family away for financial reasons. Every day we provide safe, welcoming care to children who parents have lost their jobs or struggle with making ends meet on a minimum wage. At the Y, we believe children will and can benefit from what the camp experience has to officer. And our children come for varying backgrounds.

In our summer camps, children are able to focus on summer fun, rather than worrying about who will care for them when their parents are at work. Children gain confidence and build self esteem. Most of all, we help children embrace the value of caring about themselves and others.
