Who We Are
Community Caregivers is a non-profit agency that provides support to older community members so that they continue to live independently. Many of our neighbors need help with getting to medical appointments, grocery shopping and sometimes just need a friendly person to chat with. We are neighbors helping neighbors and would love for you to find out how an hour or tow of your time can make a big impact!
What We Do
Community Caregivers provides assistance to community members who need help to continue to live independently in their homes. Our volunteers provide support to those in need. We are always looking for volunteers to help by driving to medical appointments; grocery shopping and making friendly check-in phone calls.
We serve most of Albany and Rensselaer Counties and never charge a fee for our services.
Community Caregivers is a non-profit agency supported by community donations, and grants from The Albany County Department for Aging, the NYS Department of Health and Office for the Aging & the U.S. Administration on Aging.
