Volunteer: Book Bike Rider

Grassroot Givers has two CDPHP sponsored e-assisted Book Bikes. These bikes are mobile libraries that travel to schools, parks, and community events, providing free books to children and encouraging a love of reading. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join us as Book Bike riders. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to engage with the community, promote literacy, and make a tangible impact on the lives of young readers. Volunteers will help ride the e-assisted bikes to their destination, distribute books, interact with children and families, and support our mission to ensure every child has access to books.
You can volunteer as an individual, a pair, or as a small group. We need riders and drivers to help drive additional books to the Book Bike visit sites.
