Volunteer: Food Pantry Phone Order Assistance

CoNSERNS-U operates a food pantry community members in need in Renssealer.  

We are in need of volunteers to take appointments for food pantry visits. This consists of desk work, checking voicemails, calling clients and taking their food pantry order needs over the phone. You can choose to do one or more days a week.

This is a need for volunteers Mondays through Thursdays from 9am-2pm and Fridays 9am-12pm.

The Roarke Center operates a food pantry for community members in Troy, NY. 

We are in need of volunteers to help with various food pantry activities such as sorting donations, packing bags of food, stocking shelves, light cleaning, distributing food to those in need. Our needs are ongoing on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays 1pm - 3pm.

The Sister Maureen Joyce Center operates a food pantry and soup kitchen for community members in the Upper Arbor Hill/West Hill of the City of Albany, NY. 

We are in need of volunteers to help with food prep & cleanup, washing dishes, rolling silverware, etc. One day, weekly, groups or individuals - all are welcome and needed! 

Our Soup Kitchen is open for volunteers on Mondays and Thursdays from 10am-2pm and open to the public for lunch from 12-1pm on these days.
