We are looking for outgoing individuals to staff tables at the entrances to Union College athletic events in January to collect food donations, encourage monetary donations and provide info about other upcoming food insecurity projects on campus. A table, signage, collection boxes, and fliers will be provided for you. This is not passive tabling. Please do not sign up for this shift if you hope to just sit behind a table. Your goal is to approach every passerby and encourage them to make a financial contribution, or donate a food or hygiene item. Volunteer: Recording Secretary - Goose Hill Neighborhood AssociationThis position focuses on taking notes during monthly meetings and producing a set of minutes to track the organization's planning process. A student in this role will also serve as a liaison between this local community organization and Union College in planning community collaborations such as Earth Day Cleanup and family events in local parks.
