The Food Pantries Mission:
We are a coalition of more than 65 food pantries in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties working together to feed the hungry. Our mission is to address hunger in the capital district through our member food pantries.
Project Description:
Need help on Tuesdays – For 1 hour between 1pm and 4pm (you can choose which hour in that time slot). ▪ There are 6 homes off Livingston Ave (Arbor Hill/West Hills areas) to be delivered to. More homes may be added.
Deliveries pick-up is from Albany Food Farmacy-Koinonia Primary Care on 553 Clinton Ave Albany
Driver would pick up from the Food Farmacy at the Koinonia Primary Care location. The driver should call each client when he/she/they arrives, so the client knows to come out and get the food. Volunteer must use own vehicle.
