Refugee and Immigrant Support Services of Emmaus equips refugees and recent immigrants to build sustainable, independent lives by offering language and literacy instruction, as well as support with life skills and integration into U.S. culture and community.
The base of the community playground is wood chips which need to be replenished and repositioned. Help shovel mulch into wheelbarrows and distribute it onto the playground. The project will begin at 9:00am and go until all the mulch is all distributed and the project is complete.
Work gloves, lunch and water will be provided. Tools will be provided as supplies last; however volunteers are invited to bring wheelbarrows, metal garden rakes and shovels suitable for moving mulch.
