In order to promote recycling and raise funds during this difficult time, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area have organized a region wide day of recycling!
On Saturday, June 27th BGCCA plans to open up drop-off sites at our Albany Clubhouse (21 Delaware Avenue, Albany), our Troy Clubhouse (1700 7th Avenue, Troy) and Bryant & Stratton College (1259 Central Ave, Albany) for community members to donate their recyclables.
We would like to have 2 - 3 volunteers manning these sites, taking in recyclables and sorting through what can and can't be returned. The sites will be open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Volunteers can choose between 2 shift options, a 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and a 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm shift.
BGCCA would also like to have some volunteer drivers, so that we can offer a pick-up service!
