United Way of the Greater Capital Region is an organization that fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. It unites donors, volunteers, and community organizations in a common mission to strengthen our community and improve social conditions in the Capital Region and beyond.
Join community members throughout the Capital Region to fill bags with helpful items for the homeless.
The items are basic needs, and even when provided often, are easily lost, used up, damaged or stolen. These items will be given to local nonprofit agencies who specifically serve our neighbors in need. All inventory and bags will be provided on-site.
Agencies receiving Blessings Bags include IPH, Street Soldiers Schenectady, Homeless and Travelers Aid Society, and Shelters of Saratoga
