Project Description:
- 4,000 gallons of milk will be given away to the public at no charge. Guests will pull up by car and food items will be loaded in by staff and volunteers.
- As more people file for unemployment, the need for food assistance is drastically increasing. New York dairy organizations are stepping up to deliver some much-needed relief with a tractor trailer carrying 4,000 gallons of milk. To ensure the safety and health of all involved in the distribution, there will be a drive-through distribution process. Residents are asked to stay in their car until they are prompted to receive their milk.
- You will help assist with loading vehicle trunks with milk for individuals in our community. Please note that due to demand on the day of the event, you may be asked to switch roles.
- Gloves, masks, water, and snacks will be provided for all volunteers
