Street Soldiers is a completely grassroots group run by all volunteers. We have an open door volunteer policy and you can come any Sunday you would like, and as often as you would like. We borrow the parking lot of the Zion Lutheran Church (just two blocks from the Union Campus) to have a place to setup and collect and share donations. We volunteer entirely outside every Sunday, all year, no matter the weather. You are welcome to bring any number of friends, family, coworkers, etc. we ask that anyone under 18 be accompanied by a volunteering adult.
Volunteers arrive at 3:00 PM Sundays in the Zion Parking lot. We set up from 3:00 to 4:00 PM and share on a line system that starts at 4:00. We will introduce you to some of the core volunteers, show you how setup and sharing work, and see where you would like to help out. There is plenty of parking in the Zion lot for volunteers. Please reach out with any questions.

Some of our volunteers choose to bring items for distribution. It is not a requirement to bring anything to share in order to volunteer. No one is required to make or bring enough for everyone. We take care of our friends as a team.
