Girl Scouts of NENY believes in the power of every G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™ to change the world. Established in June 2007 from the union of four Girl Scout councils (Hudson Valley, Mohawk Pathways, Adirondack, and North Country), we represent almost 10,000 girls of courage, confidence, and character across 15 counties in New York state. We’re the preeminent leadership development organization offering every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success. The programs we provide for Girls include Summer Camps, Leadership Journeys, and Team-building troop activities.
Project Description:
Record a video that is 1-4 minutes long, describing what you do for work and how you got there. This will be shared with Girls Scouts in virtual programming and on social media to inspire girls about different career paths and how to get there. Share what your career is, what you love about it, and what steps you took to get there, to encourage and excite Girls about the wide variety of career growth that the Capital Region has!
