Rensselaer County Department for Youth

The Department for Youth will provide youth birth- twenty-one with opportunities through positive leisure time activities and social intervention to grow and mature into responsible productive adults. We strive to fund a range and variety of quality programs and services available to all youth.

We provide funding from Office of Children and Family Services to help programs that focus on youth development. We are a Summer Food Sponsor for the County We provide backpacks to children in need of school supplies as well as winter coats We are a Toys for Tots Sponsor
