We are a coalition of safety and health professionals, workers, union activists, and community leaders who believe all workers deserve the right to a safe and healthy job. Our mission is to ensure all workers are able to go to work and return home safe and healthy. We provide training, education, and technical assistance to ensure all workers in the Capital District have access to a safe and healthy job. We serve the most vulnerable workers, people who are exposed to a high level of workplace hazards due to the nature of their job, education level, immigration status, age, and level of work experience.
What We Do
We provide training, education, and technical assistance to workers and organizations in the Capital District. Our workplace health and safety training sessions provide participants with the knowledge they need to understand their rights on the job and stay safe. Our training program is targeted to each group of participants, depending on their work experience, language spoken, and industry represented. Additionally, we are able to provide technical assistance for any small business or organization that has any questions around occupational safety and health, such as OSHA compliance and specific hazards on the job.
