Who We Are

A group of parents from Saratoga, Rensselaer, Warren, and Washington Counties founded NYSARC Inc. Saratoga County Chapter in 1953 to create a rightful place in society for their children, develop educational opportunities, increase physical, verbal, communication, and daily living skills, and promote better personal and social opportunities. Since then, the agency has been instrumental in providing the highest quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families by offering programs: Clinical, Community Integration, Day Services and Habilitation, Employment and Supported Work, Family Support, Information and Referral, Outreach and Advocacy, Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy, Public Education, Seminars and Workshops, Recreational and Social, Residential, and Transportation.

What We Do

Empower individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to identify and pursue their life goals through knowledge, collaboration, and experience.
